An event such as Chemtech Synergy not only involves substantive ambitions, but also a range of logistical and organisational challenges. ‘The timing of international keynote speakers is always a challenge,’ says Pieter-Jan. ‘Some came straight from another conference abroad and were only able to deliver their presentations at the last minute.
